Delete it in the app
The steps are the same on iPhone and Android.
- 1Open Ayarly and sign in. You land on “Home”, the app’s first screen.
- 2Scroll to the bottom of “Home”, where “Sign out” is.
- 3Tap “Delete account”. A sheet opens and says exactly what will be deleted.
- 4If you own the shop, type its name in the “Shop name” field and tap “Delete the shop and my account”. If you work in the shop, tap “Delete my account”.
- 5The app signs you out and goes back to the start. The deletion is already done.
If your trial has ended (“The trial has ended”) or the shop is switched off (“This shop is switched off”), that screen is all the app shows. “Privacy policy” and “Delete account” are at its bottom too, and the steps from the third one on are the same.
On a computer, the same two links are at the bottom of the home page, in the web app at app.ayarly.app and in the desktop app.
What is deleted
If you own the shop
The shop and everything in it are deleted:
- Receipts, returns and their photos.
- Stock, stock movements and stock-takes.
- Rates, mark-ups and making charges.
- Trader accounts and their entries.
- Branches and the devices registered to the shop.
- The accounts of everyone who works in the shop.
Here, the owner means the last person in the shop who can manage its people. If someone else in the shop can still manage them, only your own account is deleted and the shop stays with them. The sheet in the app tells you which case is yours before you confirm.
If you work in a shop
Only your own account is deleted:
- Your name, email address, phone number and PIN.
- Your sign-in on every device: you are signed out everywhere.
- Your notification tokens, so no more notifications reach you.
The shop keeps its receipts, because they are its books. Where your name used to be, they show “Former staff member”.
No app? Ask by email
Write to hello@ayarly.app from the email address on your account, or give us the phone number on it. Name the shop, and say whether you own it or work in it.
We confirm that the request is yours, delete the account within 30 days, and write back when it is done.
How long it takes
- In the app
- Immediately. Your sign-in stops working on every device at once.
- By email
- Within 30 days of your request.
- Backups
- Copies in our backups are removed in their normal cycle and are never used to bring a deleted account back.
- Usage statistics
- Statistics in Google Analytics carry only a pseudonymous account number, which leads to no one once the account is deleted; Google removes them on its own schedule.
A deleted account or shop cannot be restored. If you want a copy of the shop’s data, ask us before you delete.
How we handle your data while you use Ayarly is set out in the privacy policy. For anything else, see support.
